Preferred Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven abilities in core design fundamentals, game production, and fully executed titles for the Internet, console, and/or mobile platforms
• Expert wireframer; able to create both low and high fidelity wireframes and UI Spec documentation to communicate and test specific interactions
• Expert “user-flow-er”; able to reveal the complexity and find solutions and patterns to address complex user interactions
• Able to create detailed user scenarios and use cases
• Experience designing and executing formal, and informal, user experience test plans with actual real world users
• Solid understanding of current technology trends and how they influence the user experience
• Must have advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Flash, Adobe CS, Keynote, Axure, OmniGraffle, Pen (or Pencil) and Paper
• Must have working knowledge of CSS and HTML 5
• Must be extremely knowledgeable of MMO’s, Social Media Games, Mobile Games, and game industry trends
• Must be versatile with skills ranging from documenting, structuring projects, and writing detailed technical specifications
• Must have proven direct contribution and involvement in previous game UX/UI systems and structure
• Must have strong creative and design sensibilities, an expert in the field of UX/UI Design, and be adaptable to changing technology, restrictions, deadlines, and project requirements


Aeeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join the team responsible for the creation of our next AAA children’s online virtual world. The UX Designer will be responsible for defining, testing, and overseeing the creation of engaging, user-friendly interfaces and subsequent documentation. This includes working closely with producers, project managers, game designers, artists, and developers to create user flows, wireframes, mockups, rapid prototypes, and interaction specifications, as well as conduct real world testing with actual users to guide the user experience development process. Additional responsibilities include preparing design solutions, developing functional experiences with a focus on engaging users, and developing and improving upon existing UX/UI game systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record.
Required Qualifications • 5+ years experience as a designer and/or information architect in the online gaming, consumer Web, mobile, and/or social media sectors
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a principal focus on new media, interactivity, and game design with a concentration on interface and user design or instructional design
• Hands-on understanding of the software development lifecycle; experience working in a agile development environment (Scrum, XP or Related)
• Experience designing for online games (especially virtual worlds and MMOs), mobile (iOS and Android), and products built on top of social platforms like Facebook and Twitter
• Extra Credit: Direct experience designing user experiences for children and younger audiences preferred
