Would you like to work at one of the world’s largest online retailers - designing a new user experience for their online returns center? Aquent, the only global staffing company dedicated to creative, marketing, and digital roles is conducting a search for exceptional UI/UX Designers for an e-commerce giant and, we’d love to help you get your foot in the door.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Understanding all aspects of the user experience from the standpoint of the customer
Working closely with software developers and business users within Customer Returns to come up with the right interfaces.
Designing user interfaces for mobile devices
Ensuring the designs are usable - even for computer novices
Writing the user interface specifications, creating any necessary art, and working closely with engineers to implement the designs
Conducting usability testing of the designs, including: developing test plans, building prototypes, conducting the tests and analyzing the result

Qualifications needed:

At least 7 years of experience as a user experience designer, user interaction designer, user interface designer, or similar role
A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions
An informed set of core values regarding user experience, technology, and business communication and the ability to present them eloquently and concisely
Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for dynamic AJAX-based web 2.0 applications
Experience working collaboratively with developers for both feasibilty and implementation of designs
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, CSS is a strong plus
