Our Fortune 1000 client is an international travel site that helps customers find the best deals on airfare, hotels, car rentals and more. They are life loving travel geeks! Currently making significant upgrades to brand and product; this is your chance to make your mark and bring the power of world-class design to a brand enjoyed by millions of travelers! You’ll be part of the User Experience team, working in Agile methodologies. The UED team is within the Product Management group, a growing team of UX and design evangelists, artists, travelers and all-around fun and friendly people. This position reports to the Design Director, and is part of a broader team of Product Designers, Researchers and Content Strategists.
· Design great user experiences and/or interfaces for websites and related products.
. Lead brainstorming activities, as needed. . Define, categorize, and organize content.
. Create multiple solutions to a single design problem and iterate to a few alternate designs.
. Create specification as needed, including site maps, flow diagrams, state transition diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
. Prepare and share project and/or design presentations
· Translate consumer needs, business requirements, brand standards, and interaction design into visual user experiences that are engaging, simple, intuitive and converting
Experience designing for e-commerce sites or apps; ideal experience in payments and checkout flows
