UI QA Web Specialist

One of our regular Fortune 500 clients who is the world's leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, enabling companies to Decide with Confidence® is looking for a UI Quality Assurance Web specialist. This individual will be responsible for the fidelity of the web properties that will host on Adobe's CQ platform. As a key contributor and member of the production team, this person is also responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities
-QA/production lead on Saturday code releases (2x month - UI only, no code QA)
-Pre and post publish QA on supported browsers (UI only, no code QA)
-Review and document changes made by web production in Adobe CQ
-Assist production with making decisions about defects in any given release cycle
-Assist with fixing defects on an as needed basis
-Assist with building and maintaining pages in CQ on an as needed basis
-Cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, web standards and best practices, and why we should develop with those in mind
-Maintain tracking documents for component configurations and locations

Experience and Qualifications
-3-5 years experience
-HTML, CSS, JavaScript (always w3c compliant)
-Ability to build pages in both table and table-less environments
-Familiarity with Photoshop and other Adobe CS3 apps
-Work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
-Work independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines, being able to switch rapidly between projects.
-Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, project owners, departments and third party vendors
-Must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, autonomous, disciplined, organized, self-sufficient, proactive, and take ownership of and responsibility for work assigned
-Must be accountable and drive performance to meet commitments
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
-Excellent troubleshooting skills
-Able to give and receive constructive feedback in a friendly and professional manner

This is a full time and long term contract position which is performed offsite (M-F, 9-6), with weekly meetings at our San Francisco office.
