**Ideally we are looking for a Frontend / UI Engineer with experience in developing large-scale, globalized websites**

Job summary:
The Predictive Intelligence product development team is responsible for the design, development and operations of cutting-edge business solutions that use sophisticated algorithms and data science to analyze large volume of user behavior data (views, clicks, searches, purchases, abandonments, etc.), and predict the next best offer, content or product for each individual customer. Marketers use this actionable data to seamlessly deliver real-time personalized messages to their customers across channels.

We are looking for a UI/Frontend software engineer (Contractor role) in the development of new features and globalization of existing websites. As a contributing member of this team, you will work closely with the functional counterparts in your organization to understand product feature requirements, and build/maintain globalized websites following the lean/agile development process.

Your Impact:
Develop high-performance, user-friendly, re-usable, and visually appealing websites that cater to global customer base across multiple browsers and operating systems.
Localize the current site pages for multiple languages/character-sets.
Identify and improve the usability, performance, and stability of the existing sites.
Work closely with product management, and engineering to understand a product feature, and effectively translate them to visually superior, globally usable UI.
Participate in design, and code reviews.
Adopt, and embrace test-driven software development practices (we have weekly scrums, and release every day).

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or equivalent technical experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing high performance, cross-browser, cross-OS, globalized web sites.
- In-depth knowledge of core Javascript, and related frameworks (AngularJS, Knockout, Backbone, etc).
- Hands-on experience in developing highly responsive web (and mobile web) sites using - HTML5/CSS/AJAX.
- Strong Object Oriented Programming (OOP) skill-set.
- Good understanding of website performance, graceful degradation techniques, and browser/os quirks.
- Ideal candidate would have Internationalization (i18n) and Localization (l10n) experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams, in a highly agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Desired skills:
- Experience with Ruby/Rails is a plus.
- Good grasp of web technologies (HTTP, Sessions, REST/APIs, Caching, etc) is a plus
- Experience with unit testing and automation (Selenium, Cucumber, etc) is desired.
