Vitamin T's client is in the luxury skincare industry. The Brand remains true to the scientific principles of its founder, world–renowned dermatologist.

The client are constantly evolving the Brand's user experience to reflect current interactive trends and best represent a high-technology and scientific brand. They have many new projects and exciting opportunities that if you love working in interactive, this is the place to be.

They are seeking a UI/Visual Designer for a temp to perm opportunity for the right person.
This is located on-site in El Segundo. Occasional travel to photo/video shoots to Los Angeles and Orange County.
Pay is up to $35/hr freelance or $75K fulltime, depending on experience.

POSITION - UI Designer Job Description

Full time lead design role on the Brand's interactive team. The UI designer is responsible for the creation of all digital designs, from responsive websites to tablet and mobile applications. This role also takes part in the development of the user experience, on all digital platforms. They effectively communicate and coordinate with business owners, copywriting and developers to ensure that the experience & design communicates the desired message and functions. The candidate must be capable of independently leading the creative aspects of a project from conception to delivered artwork. If necessary for optimal user experience, Photo and video shoots may be required.

This role will have immediate and significant impact in the Brand's new retail environments and online presence.


• Develop rich user experiences on web, tablet & mobile

• Create presentation moodboards & user flows, site maps, UI design and visual design

• Design responsive websites, design tablet and mobile applications (iPad, iPhone)

• Assure follow-up of projects into programming

• Stays abreast of current digital technologies & design and industry trends

• Exceptional initiative and ownership of projects, attention to detail and follow-through skills

• Reporting to Interactive Art Director


• Bachelor’s degree in digital design (or equivalent)

• 5 years minimum experience as a digital designer (or equivalent)

• Understands and effectively communicates

• Advanced working knowledge of photoshop and illustrator

• Excellent digital UX & visual design skills

• Must be able to use appropriate terminologies and language to accurately convey changes or direction in concept or design

• Creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills


• Motion design

• Directing photo or video shoots

• JavaScript, JQuery, HTML 5
