Our client is a Seattle area startup that is changing how we buy and sell locally by making it as easy as sharing a photo from your phone.

The design team is looking for a highly experienced designer to bring fresh ideas and insights to help evolve the experience. You are someone with a desire for creating elegant design that delights our customers with simplicity - making them come back over and over again. Your designs will touch millions of users!!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Experienced creative designer who can weave together color, typography, layout, imagery, iconography, motion and brand into a cohesive, beautiful, inspired design language across a suite of products
  • Highly-developed, clean, modern aesthetic design sense
  • 5+ years of design experience with the ability to provide guidance and lead by example to foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • 3+ years working on user interface design with experience in mobile preferred.
  • Own and build our visual style guide to drive design consistency.
  • Art-direct and create visual assets including icons, illustrations, photography
  • You will have pixel perfect attention to detail.
  • Obsessed with understanding users and solving real, end-to-end user problems with simple and intuitive visual designs
  • Collaborate closely between the product, engineering and marketing teams to ensure that we implement a holistic brand story across our product and marketing communications
  • Critically minded, investigative, inspiring, convincing and with a can-do mentality.
  • We are firm believers in agile principles - you must adapt to change, opportunity, and deadlines with ease.
  • An expert understanding of your tools: Communication, Paper and Pencil, Whiteboard, Sketch 3, Illustrator, Photoshop, Marvel, InVision, Pixate, After Effects, or similar.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
