Pay up to $72 per hour depending on experience

Our client’s domain product is a transparent domain registration and management experience that helps users find, buy and manage their domains as they get started online. Visual design is a critical part of our client’s product experience. Our team is looking for a Designer to collaborate closely with other UXers, engineering team and product for better communication and velocity.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Design the user interface visually so information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find.
Produce illustrations, icons, diagrams, templates, and style guideline and other design specs (redlines) documents for use in development.
Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.

Additional responsibilities include:
Take input/requirements from multiple stakeholders across different organizations.
Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts.
Collaborate with interaction designer and UX researcher to constantly refine the design language and create innovative, great-looking products that people love to use.

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field.
4 total years of professional experience with 2 years of relevant work experience in visual design.
Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch.
Mobile UI design experience.
Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and/or engineers.
Core design skills; ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.
Considerable success as a UI designer, evangelist, creative director, or design consultant working with web or mobile technologies.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality. Strong command of web design or mobile design landscapes.

Nice to have's:
HCI background with solid understanding and application of information design principles.
