Vitamin T is currently in search of a UI Designer for our client in Detroit. This is a long-term opportunity!

This position is responsible for the digital design of projects including, but not limited to, websites & portals. The designer will design, websites, applications and components. The UI Designer should be flexible and able to learn and adapt quickly to various technical and creative challenges, while delivering quality design work in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:

Creates engaging, useable and effective visual designs working within the corporate standards that extend the brand
Works with team to problem solve and create full design solutions for projects
Use information design principles and well developed skills in creating and documenting all aspects of business requirements, interface design (wire framing, story boarding, rough layouts, mock-ups, interface elements and icons), functional specifications (technical writing and annotations), user needs (flow charts, scenarios and prototype testing) and information architecture (site maps and navigation)
Turn wireframes/prototypes into visual designs that are brand friendly and adhere to guidelines
Create digital front-end designs including wireframes, web architecture and UX/UI, according to current standards, best practices and cross-browser compatibilities
Effectively visualize concepts through recommendations on relevant photography, typography, iconography, UI and graphic elements
Perform other duties as assigned
