UI Designer- 6+ contract

Are you a talented UI Designer looking for a 6+ month contract with a HIGH likelihood to go full time? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in downtown Indianapolis with a stellar team of designers and developers? This role might be for you?

What you will do:
-Help define UX/UI goals and requirements through client interviews
-Perform BASIC level research tasks such as competitive analysis, heuristics, and defining end users
-Ideate/conceptualize on defined requirements providing a range of possible solutions
-Design information architecture including recommended taxonomy
-Create comprehensive and annotated wireframes (lo- or hi-fidelity) to illustrate screens in a workflow
-Develop basic prototyping experiences such as InVision, Axure or other related tools to validate and test workflows
-Layer beautiful visual designs on top of wireframes to align to existing or newly created brand style guidelines
-Collaborate with development teams (internal or external), throughout the design process, to stay aprised of technical requirements and considerations and ensure a seamless handoff from design to development

REQUIRED Skills:
-Balance of UX and UI skills to take a project from conception to hi-fidelity design
-.Net experience is a MUST have
-Ability or experience doing development work such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, or Ajax
-Proficient in industry standard applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office or other related tools
-Knowledge and understanding of user-centered design methodologies

DESIRED skills:
-The ability to present and communicate your work and recommendations to clients in a clear, confident and professional manner
-Ability to work collaboratively or independently when necessary across multi-functional teams, internal or external
-Ability to work with project managers to ensure UX/UI budget and schedule are met for all deliverables
-Ability to learn new and developing techniques, tools and methodologies
-Have superb attention to detail
-Possess solid written and verbal communication skills
-At least 3 years of demonstrated UI experience
-Degree in User Experience Design or related field, and/or mind-blowing portfolio that demonstrates your abilities
