For more than a decade, our client has been providing industry-leading risk management services and tools that improve efficiency, reduce risk factors, and protect the overall bottom line. They are seeking a User Interface Designer to help them improve the User Experience across their web-based software platform and all supporting experiences. The User Interface Designer is responsible for the design and interactions of the platform and all associated products and interactive assets. Successful candidates should be prepared to demonstrate the following:
Be comfortable working with a product that places emphasis on data, detail and interaction
Ability to translate written & verbal requirements into low-fidelity wireframes
Converting wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes and/or interaction designs for stakeholder testing
The ability to collect and synthesize stakeholder feedback into actionable design tasks
Proficiency with industry-standard design software
Ability to design interactive data visualizations (infographics, charts & tables)
Be well versed in application design vs. pure website design
The ability to work in a growing, fast-paced but professional environment with rapid changes in direction and multiple priorities
Bring a good attitude, willingness to adapt to change and strong work ethic. You should also want to have some fun at work!
Required Knowledge, Experience and Education: Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, Web Design, or similar.
3 or more years of experience designing User Interface/Interactions for large- scale, user-centric websites/applications. Ideally across multiple experiences (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Understanding of front-end software development best-practices and limitations, and how they impact the execution of UI.
