Training and Development Spec, Sr – Analyst (6038094MI)

This position reports to a Lead Instructional Designer and is responsible for efforts in the analysis and design of learning curricula. The Senior Training and Development Specialist will: utilize expertise in analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (formative and summative) of training products and design large-scale blended learning programs involving various learning solutions. The learning materials for these curricula may be produced for many different industries and will be delivered in an increasing variety of delivery media including: Web, Interactive Distance Learning (IDL), Virtual Classroom Training (VCT), or Instructor Led Training (ILT) and ILT with hands on activities.

Required Skills:
• 6 + years working within the ADDIE process:
• Emphasis in Curriculum Analysis, Design and Development
• Emphasis in having developed enterprise wide learning solution(s)
• 1 + years consulting experience
• Front-end analysis such as work deconstruction, task analysis, organizational analysis, etc
• Strong project management
• Demonstrated customer-relation skills
• Consultative skills
• Facilitation skills -focus groups with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional System Designers (ISDs)
• Technical proficiency with MS Office suite (emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Working knowledge of:
o Blending Learning programs
o Relational data bases
o Systems theory
o Learning Management System (LMS)
o SCORM
• Research latest emerging technologies and learning practices
