Training Specialist / eLearning

Reporting to the Medical Affairs Strategic Operations department, responsibilities include:

5+ years' experience.
Creates / implements training initiatives and opportunities leveraging instructional design techniques and strategies that enhance web-based, ILT, and blended instruction.
• Serves as primarily contact for customers to develop new content
• When applicable, work with and manage external vendors for the development and enhancement of training curricula ensuring timely completion of high quality deliverables within budget
• Act as day to day point of contact for line functions/customer, vendors, and stakeholders
• Communicate information regarding training via various media types
• Creates sustainable programs and platforms to ensure learnings are implemented and pulled through
• Utilizes a variety of training tools to enhance learning such as user guides, videos, tutorials, scenario based learning, and e-learning
• Provide program analysis and progress reports
• Develop tools for measuring program and training effectiveness
• Assess impact and provide feedback and recommendations to respective managers/leaders

Skills:
Prior training experience of 5 years
Knowledge of training and development practices and methods including needs assessment and instruction design for instructor led, virtual, online, and blended training.
Knowledge of learning theories and principles including adult learning theory.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite – Word, Power Point, Excel
