Training Development Specialist

This Senior Consultant level training position provides the opportunity for an experienced training professional to utilize their skills to develop and deliver training in support of our Sales and Marketing organizations; You will leverage your creativity and innovation skills as you recommend, design and develop new materials, curriculums and strategies in this highly transforming culture.

In this role, you’ll:
- Have personal accountability for, developing and implementing training solutions for members of our sales teams across the enterprise and in our partner clients.

- Develop, source and deliver training based on instructional design methods, providing knowledge enhancement and performance consulting services to the company and our external clients.

- Be a key member of a team responsible for designing, sourcing, managing, developing, implementing and evaluating sales training solutions.

Responsibilities May Include:

- Instructional Design and Delivery/Facilitation - Assess, research, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training for internal/external clients.

- Online/elearning Development - Rapidly develop content supported by self-directed and online learning.

- Content Management – Updating existing content, programs, eLearning modules based on SME feedback.

- Sales Tool Development – Develop Scripting, positioning, playbooks and quick reference guides. – Nice to have

-Performance and Training Consultation - Explore with internal/external clients performance improvement or knowledge enhancement opportunities and serve as an information resource.

- Project Management - Manage a variety of training projects (large and small in scope) and represent the training team on corporate projects and initiatives. Support in project planning or execution expectations beyond training.



- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.


- 3 - 5 (or more) years of design, development and implementation of training; Knows and can apply the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of instructional design, adult learning and Kirkpatrick's levels of evaluation.

- 3-5 (or more) years of designing and developing elearning content using tools like Captivate, Articulate – Presenter, Quizmaker

- Previous Sales, Sales Management and/or Sales Training Experience within a Professional Services, Marketing Services, or similar Service/Consulting based Organization. – Nice to have

- Sales training experience, preferably in a large account sale or face to face environment.

- Global Training Experience developing content and materials for translation and other cultures.

- Strong knowledge of or experience in online marketing and an active user of social media tools.

- Experience designing programs for Web Services, SEM, SEO, etc.

- Strong Business Acumen required. 5 – 7 years of business experience required.

- Master level skills with Word, PowerPoint 2007 or 2010

- Strong computer, web navigation and technical skills including keyboarding 50 wpm.

Pre-Employment Screening Drug screen and background check required. EOE/M/F/D/V.

Looking for a start date in the beginning of October with estimated end date of 12/31/13. The assignment may extend.
