Project Overview:
As a Training Content Specialist, you'll provide support for the Retail Training team by managing development of training communications, like notifications, emails and promotional copy, targeted at third-party retail sales associates (RSAs). As a content specialist, you have great instincts for short-form communications backed by experience writing and managing communication programs. Experience in a PR, marketing or similar agency environment will be a plus. Specifically, you will plan, development and delivery of content, sourcing input from agencies, training leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and on spec. You’ll also work on some internal (email and intranet) communications for our team.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Research, create, edit, and manage a portion of the clients's RSA-facing content, primarily email, notification and promotional copy, along with some internal communications content
- Have a full understanding and the ability to articulate the values of the client and its products
- Confidently manage a variety of interests as you interact with a wide range of project teams
- Have the ability to meet the deadlines of your assignments
- Have the ability to produce compelling, accurate, and lively content in a timely fashion and sometimes at a moment's notice
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Working with HM and other training leads to ensure training materials are delivered
- Pre-production plan for next set of deadlines and traffic management
- Writing copy and getting management approval to make sure the client's brand standards are carried out
Required Skills:
- Education: BA/BS degree required in Marketing/Communications
- Experience: 4-6 years of PR, marketing or social media agency exp (equivalent agency roles - PR account manager/copy writer/social media strategist)
- Outstanding writing skills, and demonstrated content production and management experience for training, social, communications or related disciplines
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks from multiple team members.
- Demonstrated experience producing communications plans and materials, and strong presentation design skills
- Able to grow positive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and colleagues at all organizational levels
- Experience using Gmail, Google Drive and Docs
- Flexible, proactive, responsible and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
