Training Content Specialist

As a Training Content Specialist, you'll provide support for the Retail Training team within this top tech company's retail marketing by managing development of training curriculum targeted at third-party retail sales associates. You'll also create and manage associated communications such as notifications, emails and promotions. As a content specialist, you have great instincts for short-form communications backed by experience writing and managing communication programs. Specifically, you will coordinate briefing, development and delivery of content, working with agencies, training leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and on spec.

As a content specialist you will:
- Research, create, edit, and manage content
- Have a full understanding and the ability to articulate the values of this company and their products
- Confidently manage a variety of interests as you interact with a wide range of project teams
- Have the ability to meet the deadlines of your assignments
- Have the ability to produce compelling, accurate, and lively content in a timely fashion and sometimes at a moment's notice

Daily Tasks:
- Working with HM and other training leads to ensure training materials are delivered
- Pre-production plan for next set of deadlines
- Writing copy and getting management approval
- Traffic management
- Making sure brand standards are carried out

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: BA/BS degree required in Marketing/Communications
- Experience: 4-6 years of marketing or social media agency exp (equivalent agency roles - producer/copy writer/social media strategist)
- Outstanding writing skills, and demonstrated content production and management experience for training, social, communications or related disciplines
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks from multiple team members.
- Demonstrated experience producing communications plans and materials, and strong presentation design skills
- Able to grow positive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and colleagues at all organizational levels
- Experience using Google products including Hangouts, Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Docs
- Flexible, proactive, responsible and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
