Traffic Specialist

Our large financial services client in Owings Mills is looking for a Traffic Specialist for a 3 month contract assignment with the potential to extend longer.

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the production and distribution of communication campaigns for the enterprise within the firm-wide publishing chain. This position works closely with Marketing Managers, Corporate, and shared services departments within Enterprise Publishing and Legal to ensure that all communication materials (print and digital) are in compliance, meet regulatory standards, reflect the brand and are quality checked before sending materials to market. This position also serves as the primary key contact/liaison between distribution channel marketers and Enterprise Publishing production resources.

Principal Responsibilities:

Serves as key contact to keep internal clients, Enterprise Publishing, and management informed of Fixed/Repeatable campaign status.

Ensure that all materials go through proper channels in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Facilitates the resolution of campaign and/or project related questions/issues.

Ensures that all materials are reviewed and approved by Legal before printing and retaining in the firm’s 17a4-approved system of record for regulatory retention.

Develop production schedules that are acceptable to the client and support departments.

Maintain project schedules, track campaign components, and process print, direct mail, and fulfillment requests within the project management system.

Manage the flow of materials to ensure that schedules are met.

Inform internal clients and project teams of scheduling issues.

Negotiate schedule changes to accommodate client requests and/or production issues.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a traffic manager, coordinator, project manager
5-7 years experience in managing online traffic
