Traffic Specialist

Our broadcast client is looking for a traffic specialist to assist in the organization and management of project work flow supporting our networks and corporate communications teams, including photography, presentations, environmental graphics and design. You will be the first point of contact for requests, and then act as liaison between clients and our project managers and production teams, assigning and monitoring projects through completion.

Day to day roles:
The traffic specialist manages the master project schedule, monitoring and adjusting for capacity, which includes: receiving and processing all client requests; reviewing initial project details with leadership to determine the approach; entering projects into the job tracking system and file management; strategically assigning or redirecting projects; ensuring deadlines are met; arranging quality assurance; and closing out projects. The traffic specialist also leads internal initiatives supporting the department’s priorities.

Skills, attributes and requirements:
• Experience in a trafficking or related resource management role
• Understanding of project management fundamentals
• Capacity to stay organized and focused in a regularly changing environment
• Proactive and positive approach to assignments, follow ups and delivery
• Confident in and capable of communicating with varied levels, departments and personalities
• Natural ability to partner with clients while supporting a team atmosphere
• Adaptable, flexible and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• Basic understanding of project work flow or process software or tools
• Bachelor’s degree
