Traffic Manager

Our client is looking for a Traffic Manager to help manage internal processes. THIS IS A FULL TIME, ON SITE CONTRACTOR UNTIL APRIL 2015.

The Traffic Manager will
-Manage the flow of work between Brand Managers and Creative Team
-Acquire appropriate documentation for start of project, maintaining project documentation, tracking projects and providing project status reports to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
-Plan, schedule and track projects thru Creative Services including following up on missing info and filing all final drafts in accordance with the Creative Process.
-Lead frequent prioritization discussions with marketing Brand Managers, including the weekly meeting, to ensure Creative Services is working on the projects that have the highest impact to our businesses.
-Track project milestones and monitor progress for the Creative Services manager and Brand Managers to keep projects on schedule.
-Develop and disseminate frequent status reports for all projects.
-Identify and address potential problems as early as possible in the prosecution workflow.
-Coordinate with other Traffic Managers to ensure Creative Services has resources allocated properly.
-Learn, understand and know the internal client base; establish and maintain effective working relationships with key employees in order to understand and anticipate their specific needs and goals.
-Assist Brand Managers in the opening of new projects, and in setting schedules that are satisfactory to both the Brand Manager and the Creative Services manager.
-Develop and maintain project coordination process and make recommendations for process improvements.
-Manage weekly time tracking, project-tracking, inputs projected and actual time spent on each project and facilitates resource-planning discussion with Creative Managers when necessary.
-Coordinate time off of creative teams with project timelines.
-Prepare and maintain project documentation including creative brief, designs and related support documentation, including status reports.
-Work with Creative Manager to recommend resource alignments and staffing needs based on volumes and timelines Performs other duties as assigned.
