Vitamin is currently in search of a Traffic Manager for our client in Troy, MI. This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity with our client!

Nature / Scope:

The Traffic Manager maintains the integrity of every CRM regular project from inception to the delivery of final files. The Traffic Manager develop and manages time action plans and schedules while ensuring that creative briefs, legal, product, client and account reviews, comments and approvals are adhered to. This person will also revise the schedules to reflect or update delivery dates. This person constantly facilitates team communication between the Account Executives, Print Production Managers, Creative and Desktop Publishing to troubleshoot and problem solve at every stage of development.

Duties / Responsibilities:

- Ensure the Direct Mail and eDirect approval process is followed correctly and completely by reviewing Direct Mail and eDirect templates, website copy, letters, brochures, etc. and routing them for the required approval by the appropriate parties including Account, Art Director, Copywriter, Proofreader, Print Production, Legal, Product and Award Approvers
- Responsible for evaluating all comments/changes/annotations to the draft copy and consolidating them accordingly and then delivering any changes to the Desktop team
- Responsible for identifying conflicting comments/changes and reviewing with the appropriate individuals on the Account team to gain clarity and resolution
- Creates, maintain and distribute all time action plans on assigned accounts, and provide weekly update of eDirect timing to Desktop Services
- Identify conflict, risk, delay or any other unusual situations and work to resolve these matters and obtain deadline extensions when necessary in an effort to limit disruption and keep the project on track
- Attend and participate in key planning and strategic meetings
- Enhance the traffic system and project management/account process through process improvement efforts and recommendations
- Collaborates with the team on overall process improvement suggestions
- Monitor and compile project costs and communicates to the Account Executives for incorporation into the budget
- Partner with the Account team on asset management/collection
- Work with the Art Directors/Proofreading team to ensure that final creative files (post deployment or post mailing) are prepared properly and timely and sent to clients asset management system
