Traffic Manager

Vitamin T is currently looking for a Traffic Manager for our client in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with our client!

Summary:

The Traffic Manager is charged with managing and overseeing the day to day work of the production team and includes all print, digital, and video projects.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor day-to-day execution traffic of all marketing projects / manage project workflow within the creative and production groups
- Interface with internal team members on an ongoing basis to monitor progress and ensure that deadlines / specifications are met
- Create and update schedules, hold kick-off meetings, collaborate with design, photo studio, copy and web teams, as well as assign and log projects, setup folders, track status, route for approval and push the creative teams to meet deadlines
- Communicate and negotiate in a clear and constructive way with clients to clarify specifications, deliverables and timetable
- Troubleshoot production, efficiency and timing issues as needed
- Order and maintain marketing supplies and coordinate with in-house and outside suppliers to ensure the team members have the necessary information and assets to complete work effectively and on time
- Track detailed progress and costs of more than 100 marketing projects at one time via proprietary marketing software; establish budgets for each project, and work closely with requesters and marketing team members to develop an estimate prior to accepting work from agencies and other community organizations
- Evaluate systems while developing and refining new work processes

Skills / Abilities:
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills, with strong attention to detail
- Computer competency
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Familiarity with electronic job tracking systems

Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Prior experience working with a marketing team
- Prior exposure to marketing, digital, print production, and marketing supplies
