Traffic Manager

The Traffic Coordinator coordinate the workflow of dozens of projects – simultaneously in progress – in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, creative Marketing department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Traffic jobs from start to finish:
o Open Marketing jobs in Quickbase (Web tracking database)
o Create production schedules
o Monitor the status of each job and ensure that deliverables are meeting deadlines
o Update job status in QuickBase
o Obtain internal and client approvals as required
o File all back-up documentation upon completion of jobs
• Participate in relevant meetings as needed, including production meetings, event planning sessions, and creative input briefings
• Assist with billing process

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: College degree preferred

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years traffic experience required in a marketing, advertising, agency or in-house project management environment
Must have experience managing a high volume of projects.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
• Proficient in Windows environment, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), across all levels
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of creative and production processes
• Adept at developing production schedules
• Acute attention to detail

Skills/Competencies:
• Confident and comfortable managing heavy workload
• Deadline oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
