Traffic Manager

Company seeks experienced Traffic Manager for ongoing contract role. This is a full-time, onsite role, that has the potential to become permanent. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for both the technical and logistical aspects of the creative department, including resource management. The primary function of the Traffic Manager is to handle all incoming projects, manage staff workloads, assign hours and delegate tasks as needed.

The Traffic Manager is responsible for overseeing schedules with competing deadlines, ensuring all briefs are dispatched to the department according to a designer’s skills and strengths, and delivered promptly to and from the appropriate approver. This position is responsible for coordinating the scheduling, processing and trafficking of a large volume of creative projects in a fast-paced environment. The Traffic Manager serves as a liaison between Marketing and other departments,and is responsible for managing and responding to requests from internal and external customers. This position will also interface with external partners, including print vendors and
photographers.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
• Oversight of all Marketing Communication print design projects
• Assign, manage and facilitate all incoming project requests.
• Interface daily with all internal and external clients to determine project parameters.
• Monitor and channel communication between project initiators and staff members.
• Quality and Content Review - Ensure that project request form is complete so creative team
has adequate information to begin development.
• Update production schedules.
• Prioritize responsibilities with Creative Design Director (CDD).
• Assign timelines, route and track status of projects.
• Coordinate review process, identifying internal approvers and routing materials.
• Report issues affecting job scheduling and/or due dates to CDD.
• Manage Marketing project spreadsheet. Prepare status report of all active jobs.
• Lead production meetings, compile weekly schedules including daily updates and
contingency plans with creative team members
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, process invoices, enter information into logs.
• Maintain inventory samples - digital and physical
• Work closely with various external vendors to meet department needs
• Responsible for requesting and negotiating print estimates
