Traffic Coordinator/Project Manager

The Traffic Consultant supports our client's Creative Services team in the coordination and production of all projects from intake to completion. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of the phases of design production, understanding of branding, and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.


• Works closely with group leader to assign projects and balances workloads to meet deliverables;
expedites and prioritizes rush requests accordingly

• Develops and manages production timelines; enforces adherence to work flow processes and
deadlines; as changes take place, adjusts schedules and obtains extensions when necessary

• Assures creative services team has all supporting documents and information needed to complete
projects; checks initial requests for accuracy and requests additional information if needed;
collects and organizes assets for design teams

• Coordinates with Account Managers to identify gaps, mitigate conflicts, and ensures that
bottlenecks are resolved and issues are dealt with in an efficient manner

• Manages trafficking of projects with partner groups and internal/external vendors

• Keeps all creative projects moving smoothly; responds to project inquiries; provides timely
updates to ensure project moving to completion and meet customer needs; keeps creative team
apprised of project priorities and deadlines

• Manages project numbering and administration of submission/tracking system

• Prepares data for monthly and quarterly reports


• Advanced-level knowledge of creative project development processes

• Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven customer service skills in order to create, maintain, and
enhance internal customer relationships

• Extensive experience managing marketing projects and meeting milestone deadlines with complex production schedules

• Advanced-level experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and time management

• Flexibility and adaptability; able to problem-solve and handle pressure well

• Works well in a team environment with the ability to maintain positive, productive, working

• Technologically savvy (understands software, hardware, networks, etc.); PC and Mac fluent

Experience requirements

• B.S./B.A. degree in Design, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field

• 3+ years traffic experience within a high-volume advertising or communications agency, graphic
design firm, or internal corporate production department

• Experience with financial services or other highly regulated industry a plus

• Demonstrated history of hands-on project management of advertising, print, email, and
interactive campaigns

• 3+ years related experience and demonstrated leadership in project management

• 3+ years print and online production management experience
