Traffic Coordinator/Production Editor

Do you love animals? Would you like to work for a renowned non-profit that is dedicated to preventing animal cruelty? Immediate need for a Production Editor for its Publications and Brand Management department. The main responsibility of this position is to coordinate projects and oversee editorial messaging for the Publications marketing unit. The production editor will manage internal job traffic and external reviews while editing brochures, advertisements, event materials and other print collateral. Duties include but are not limited to working with program staff to accomplish campaign goals while maintaining organizational brand standards; maintaining the master calendar; coordinating deadlines and planning among editorial, design, and production; coordinating brainstorming on new or revised ad messaging, campaign and event naming efforts and general outreach strategies; regularly updating inventory catalog, FAQs, and related helpful documents for our staff; and coordinating ongoing brand awareness sessions with other departments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, English or a related field, along with at least two to four years’ experience, is highly desired. Strong editing and creative writing skills are strongly preferred.
