Traffic Coordinator with In-House Creative Team

We're working with a global Fortune 500 company (top 30) to find a Traffic Coordinator to join their growing in-house creative team! In this role, you'll work on a variety of projects including print campaigns, trade shows, sponsorships, photo and video projects, and global branding.

Start Date: Immediate
Location: Tukwila, WA
Job Type: Contract, W2 through Aquent
Hours: 40 per week
Duration: 12 months with the potential for extension long term


Manage the workload alone or with traffic coordinator peers, manage traffic workflow and quality control, close out projects as the team completes them, and generate workload reports.
Manage client interactions on many simple projects and on reorders with minimal changes.
Ensure that in-coming project requests contain all the needed information and assign project numbers.
Monitor and report on the workload of individual team members and of the team as a whole.
Ensure that creative briefs, estimates, project plans, schedules, and budgets are complete.
Generate routine status reports for the team to use and monitor information flow across the team.
Coordinate simple, templated projects or reorders with few or no modifications.
Route materials to vendors as needed.
Track and report on actual to-date expenditures against estimates for all simple projects.
Close completed projects and archive deliverables.
Collect metrics for and generate workload reports.
Evolve the traffic process to meet internal client and team needs.
Enforce adherence to workflow processes and deadlines.
Serve as the team point of contact for questions regarding project workflow and billing adjustments.
Participate in lessons-learned team meetings.

Must have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, the ability to prioritize competing priorities and work under pressure.
Must be extremely detailed oriented.
Must be collaborative and have excellent people skills to work with internal customers and creative professionals.
Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Must be able to identify process improvements.
Required computer skills: Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel, SharePoint a plus, basic knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
