Interactive Traffic Coordinator

Our client is a Fortune-500 pharmaceutical and bioscience firm located in Central NJ. They are seeking an eager, energetic traffic coordinator with prior experience working in an ad agency or corporate interactive studio to join their ever-growing fast paced team. Job Description:
• Manage and track the design, approval, proofreading and production processes of promotional materials for assigned brand(s).
• Manage expectations with clients and departmental teams. Negotiate timelines and ensure that all deadlines are maintained.
• Sets daily priorities and project planning with department team members. Gathers necessary information in order to manage project initiatives in a time efficient manner. Oversees the flow of information between account manager and department teams.
• Strong relationship builder: develops and maintains solid working relationships; encourages a collaborative approach with departmental team members.
• Partners with outside agencies in managing clients’ promotional and marketing efforts.
• Generates item numbers based on project attributes. Shepherds projects through the full approval process.
• Collaborates on creative development and direction with account manager, design and production teams.
• Maintains and updates production reports for assigned brand(s). Keeps all pipeline, estimates, due dates, and billing information current in order to apprise client and all teams of accurate status. Troubleshoots production and timing issues.
• Work closely and partner with Account Manager on assigned brand(s) in defining specific needs of the business, timelines and production capabilities.
• Keep abreast of all Regulatory, Legal and Compliance guidelines and ensure these directives are followed on assigned brand(s).
• Leverages knowledge and understanding of graphic design, creative and production to facilitate effective communication between departmental teams.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Experience in the coordination and traffic of print, direct marketing campaigns, online, TV, and radio.
• Superior project management and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, persistent follow-up and an ability to juggle shifting priorities.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional team efforts. Resourceful and solution oriented.
• Team player. Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Adept at crisis management.
• Strong written, verbal, and communication skills a must.

Experiences Desired

• Experience working in project coordination role.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3-5+ years traffic experience within a high-volume agency, graphic design firm, internal corporate or pre-press department.
• Strong working knowledge of the print and production process. Familiarity with and working knowledge of print and production software/applications.
• Superior project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and communication skills a must.
