Traffic Coordinator

The Traffic coordinator coordinates movement of all jobs through all agency departments.
The Traffic coordinator schedules, tracks and adjusts timelines of tasks and jobs from one step of completion to the next.
As changes in timing or scheduling take place, the Traffic Manager proactively makes updates to the schedules and communicates with appropriate team members.
Notifies Account Executives when it is necessary to contact clients for any materials, information, etc., required to complete scheduled projects.
Schedules all work through the agency utilizing agency project management tools and adhering to agency process guidelines.
Identifies and escalates day-to-day resource issues, resolving them with the relevant individuals and with the assistance of the Director of Production.
Leads the daily Production meeting where project status and resource allocations are discussed.
Understands individual resource allocation availability, skill sets and experience in order to ensure the right resource is assigned to the right project.
Communicates proactively and effectively with the Client Services teams in order to ensure delivery dates and hourly budget allocations are adhered to according to service agreements and/or agency contracts.
Manages resource requests by ensuring that the requirements received are of a suitable quality to be scheduled and to push back for further definition when needed.
Engages external partners when additional resources are approved and required.
Monitors day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned.
Has ability to work across several projects at once and to coordinate numerous resources in the completion of each project task.
Actively monitors project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them with the Client Services team in advance.
Reports and communicates project status to team members and senior management on a regular basis.
Understands and assists in utilization planning and forecasts for review by the Director of Production and the CFO.
Performs other duties as assigned.
