Traffic Coordinator

In-house is looking for a Traffic Coordinator. You will be the liaison between the design department and the rest of the company. You are responsible for efficiently and effectively moving work through to completion and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Ideal person will also have retail experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Traffic all creative projects for web, print, and product development (merchandising also pending):
• Meet with internal teams to accept and understand work orders. Assign job name, ensure all needed assets are present, understand all deliverables needed.
• Assist in writing briefs as needed.
• Delegate projects to the appropriate team member.
• Create timeline for each job, including briefing, design, copy, production and approvals.
• Be firm on timelines with both the design team and requestors in order to consistently meet deadlines.
• Work with Production Manager to incorporate realistic production deadlines into the schedule.
• Track changes or delays from project requestors and work this back into deadline for designers.
• Manage creative calendar/status and make available to entire organization.
• Run weekly status meetings: Ensure that all projects are on track, designers are familiar with what others are working on, ensure sharing of assets and ideas, and lead discussions on helpful guidelines and departmental needs.

MUSTS:
• Self-sufficient, organized, efficient, deadline-oriented, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Solid understanding of design and production processes: time needed for design, revisions, production, multiple print processes, etc.
• Strong eye for detail and brand standards

Qualifications:
• 4-year college degree preferred in business or design
• Microsoft Office
• Adobe CS
• Resourceful in Mac OS
