TRAFFIC COORDINATOR NEEDED! Open-ended, long-term contract opportunity with a large diagnostics company in Waltham, MA! 

The Creative Services Traffic Coordinator ensures the creative team has all necessary resources to produce their best quality work, on time. Reporting to the Creative Services Traffic and Production Manager, they manage job traffic and creative resources with a high level of visibility so that all stakeholders remain informed and expectations are met. The Traffic Coordinator is also responsible for fulfilling artwork and special project requests—including creative development for trade shows and events.

Primary Responsibilities

 Manage project assets so the creative team has everything necessary to produce their best work, including clear project details, copy documents, image requirements and deadlines

 Create project timelines and manage delivery throughout project lifecycles, from kickoff to completion

 Assign jobs among designers and freelance vendors, maintaining balanced workloads

 Liase closely with the Creative Director to ensure the quality of all design deliverables

 Identify, communicate and manage production risks to eliminate potential pitfalls or obstacles

 Assist internal customers by facilitating job requests, understanding and documenting project requirements, and managing expectations throughout the creative process

 Provide regular updates to stakeholders—MarComs, Designers and Managers—on project progress, tasks and milestones

 Own our project management software—be the main point of contact, provide new user training, manage day-to- day traffic operations and answer user questions

 Review and proofread drafts for accuracy, consistency and brand compliance

 Respond to requests for images, logos, artwork files and Brand Checks

 Assist freelance vendors with project scheduling, asset transfers and other creative needs

Success Factors

 Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy

 Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer relationship skills

 Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

 Experience using Workfront, or other project management software

 Similar experience with an in-house design team or advertising agency

 Understanding differences between print and digital production and delivery

 Proficient using Adobe Acrobat and MS Office (Excel and Power Point, in particular)
