Traffic Coordinator / Production Coordinator - traditional print collateral

A small creative marketing team at a F100 financial services company is looking for a rock star Traffic Coordinator for a long term contract assignment.

As an industry leader, they put customers at the center of all that they do. They make every decision - and design every product and service - with their customers in mind. They’ll need a traffic coordinator to be the liasion between the customer and the design studio, providing project management from start to finish on all studio jobs. The traffic coordinator ensures all required job information is obtained, assigns resources, develops job schedule, ensures timelines are met and monitors accuracy and quality.

As their new Traffic Coordinator, you will:
• Actively consults with clients regarding their jobs, providing timely and courteous service and making favorable impression.
• Serves as project liaison with studio and internal clients, providing project management throughout the life of the job.
• Records job specs and clarifies required information, ensuring specifications are correct.
• Inititates jobs, manages and applies appropriate workflows in Aprimo. Assigns appropriate studio resources to job, prioritizing work as needed. Escalate scheduling/resource conflicts to Studio Manager.
• Maintains and communicates job schedules to internal clients and studio team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitors progress of job within the workflow to ensure due date is met.
• Reviews jobs for accuracy and completeness to ensure customer’s requirements are met and appropriate quality levels are maintained.
• Works with other project coordinators to ensure all work is handled within needed deadlines.
• Facilitates or provides timely and thorough responses for customer inquiries, requests for services and problem resolution.
• Proactively resolves routine problems in a timely manner.
• Consistently follow procedures and guidelines established for the area.

You’ll need:
-Minimum of 5 yr in graphics industry in project management, production or traffic coordination role
Customer service experience
-Must be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task
-Must be experienced working with computers and have experience using online process or workflow management systems
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, a must
-Basic understanding and familiarity with interrelated aspects of graphic industry such as: marketing advertising, design, and print manufacturing
-Knowledge of print and interactive/digital production
-Strong time management skills
-Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities in a tight deadline-driven environment
