Traffic Assistant

We are looking for Traffic Assistant to join our Strategy and Research team. The role will work very closely with the Traffic Associate, as well as the broader team, and will be responsible for all traffic related tasks associated with the specific campaigns and projects assigned to them. Many of these projects include both direct marketing and social media components and span across multiple product lines (Intermediary, Cash and Institutional).

This is a 6 month position onsite in Boston 40hrs/week
Pay for this position is $17.50/hr

Specific Responsibilities

Traffic (85-90% of role)

Working with the Traffic Associate; responsible for owning trafficking for assigned direct marketing and social media projects:
• Works closely with others on the Strategy & Research team, Channel Marketing heads, designated reviewers, content team, advertising team, web team as well as external agencies, to get answers to questions that impact the timing and delivery of the campaigns and projects assigned to them
• Acting with a sense of urgency, serves as review point person and routes rounds of creative to various groups (determined based on round, channel, content type, etc) for review; follows up appropriately with reminders, and keeps project managers apprised of any issues that arise – timing or otherwise
• Responsible for consolidating feedback, reconciling conflicting feedback, seeking answers to open questions and resolving issues and delivering clean, clear, collective feedback to the agency partners
• Reviews rounds that come back from the agencies to ensure all feedback was incorporated prior to routing to the next group
• Depending on the project routes projects to various groups outside of the Global Marketing Group (legal, SSgA compliance, ALPs, SSgM compliance, other internal reviewers) for approval;
• Adjusts schedules as needed per direct marketing team direction and/or project/content delays and informs direct marketing team and any other related parties of changes;
• Reviews digital tests sent by agencies on the projects to which they are assigned – provides their approval to the project manager so they can test and sign off.
• Responsible for submitting all DM components to our internal Ad Review system used by compliance
• Owns internal filing processes for auditing purposes


Strategy and Research Team Project Support/Management (10-15% of role)
• Support Senior S&R staff on various research and strategic initiatives – administrative initially, but as experience is built and interests are developed this role should be able to get involved in a more hands on way

Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other business/process oriented discipline
• 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B and Financial Services arena
• An understanding of direct marketing and social media principles
Skills
• Extremely strong project management and organizational skills
• Process oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to “influence without authority” and build relationships and credibility internally
• Excellent listening, written and oral communications skills
• Incredibly detail oriented with ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced work environment managing many different projects simultaneously and knowing quickly where each stands within the review process when asked
• Fast learner that proactively tackles challenges
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed
• Team player
