Traffic Specialist

The Traffic Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the graphics development process by being the liaison between the internal customers, external customers, and creative teams. This person must communicate project requirements, and provide supporting materials to ensure that graphics move through the department in a timely manner. It is also necessary to enforce departmental process by having individuals use proper forms and procedures.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

Communicate with internal and external clients to coordinate transfer of all necessary documents
Proofread all graphic material to detect and correct any errors
Expedite proofs for review, revisions and approvals
Organize information for clients and department designers
Monitor that graphic submission documents are correctly submitted
Oversee and maintain scheduled deadlines
Assist manager in weekly production meetings
Maintain production spread sheet, records and update project reports
Coordinate with vendors as necessary
Perform other duties as required






EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent work experience
• Preferred one–three years marketing or agency experience with responsibilities in proofreading, traffic, scheduling, project coordination or equivalent.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Must have exceptional organizational abilities with strong communication skills
• Follow-through and detail oriented
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop a plus



SUPERVISION RECEIVED
• Under general supervision, proceeds alone on regular duties, referring questionable cases to supervisor or others
