Traffic & Production Coordinator

We are looking for a Traffic and Production Coordinator for our client in St. Pete. This person will work under general supervision, useing specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to function as traffic and production liaison between all marketing sub departments. This person will support workflow and production of marketing projects. Traffic coordinator follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform a variety of non-routine tasks with limited decision making responsibility. Should be able to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to apply to more complex assignments. Regular contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify or provide facts and information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review and revise traffic schedules via regular status reports, collaborating with all sub- departments.
- Assists with staff capacity to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assists with project timelines and budget coordination.
- Assists production specialist with routine print projects and reprints.

Must have knowledge of and skilled in:
- Fundamental traffic and/or production processes.
- Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of creative writing and design.
- Prioritizing time to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and a changing workload in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
- Thinking creatively to aid in projects with creative team.
- Analyzing information and using logic to address project related issues and problems.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, graphics, business, or advertising and a minimum 1 year experience in traffic, print production, or project management or equivalent.
