Tradeshow Coordinator

To be a good fit for this role you'll need at least 5-7 years of experience in "client-side" convention planning, including implementing processes to streamline and improve execution.

We're looking for a professional with demonstrated success in coordinating all aspects of trade shows, from clarifying the message to ensuring that the right number of power strips is on hand. You'll also need a dynamic personality and a proven ability to coordinate among multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including managing expectations, providing solutions, and balancing a collaborative approach with the right measure of assertiveness.

- A proven ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Management, and work comfortably in a highly-matrixed corporate environment
- The ability to manage workloads and prioritize requests to meet deadlines
- Creative problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and with minimum direction
- Experience managing trade shows with an IT company; consumer device background is a plus
- Experience managing international exhibit programs
- Ability to travel domestic and international to support trade show programs

- Ability to negotiate with suppliers to maximize cost-effectiveness for client
- Efficient knowledge of technical exhibit services such as Audio/Video and Internet
- Proficient knowledge of logistics/shipping practices for domestic and international events
- Strong track record of making good decisions at critical times to keep program operating at a high level

Education Required: Bachelor's, Marketing or equivalent experience
