Trade Compliance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Demonstrate working knowledge of SC/OTC systems and core supply chain processes. 
• Manage broker audit process in compliance with Customs requirements and in accordance with specific government requirements. 
• Maintain and upload all export documentation online via broker audit SharePoint sites. 
• Work directly with suppliers, Customs Brokers, freight forwarders and government agencies to provide 100% accurate declarations to Customs. 
• Evaluate broker performance metrics to identify trends and process improvement opportunities. 
• Monitor FDA Release Process and proactively communicate status, issues, and resolution to key stakeholders. 
• Support compliance initiatives related to USHTS classifications, certificates of origin, NAFTA determinations, and year end Customs reconciliations. 

REQUIREMENTS 
-1+ year of import/export experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field 
• Strong interpersonal and business communication skills – both written and verbal 
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required 
• Strong results focus and goal achievement skills 
• Ability to work in a team environment and solve problems 
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Excellent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, e-mail and internet applications; SAP experience a plus 
• A working knowledge of U.S. Customs procedures and compliance requirements 
• General knowledge of import/export procedures and international transportation
