The Digital Delivery Specialist (Online Aquisituion, Agile/SCRUM, Atlassian Jira, Confluence).

This Specialist will play a key role in successful delivery of both strategic and BAU digital change that directly impacts the brand's customers.

The role holder is responsible for on-time delivery and aligning digital solutions across the business to ensure delivery, in a compliant manner, against an overall strategy for acquiring new customers in an online environment.

Supported by a team focused on digital design and web development, you will be focused on planning and executing digital changes that will ultimately welcome more customers. The responsibilities of the role extends to oversight of digital acquisition delivery within the commercial team and also support the broader commercial as efficiently as possible.

Key Accountabilities
• Ensure all digital transformation projects are executed and delivered on time, within business expectation.
• Responsible for creation of delivery timelines including task allocation across the Customer Experience team members
• Accountable for the development and delivery of digital transformation and BAU projects
• Responsible for team testing output. This will mean overseeing the SIT environment, therefore post developer unit testing, but ahead of UAT execution. Attention to detail is therefore a must-have.
• Identifying opportunities for delivering projects in an efficient and effective manner
• Responsible for documenting digital solutions that drive an optimal customer experience and look to always improve their application journey and conversion.
• Responsible for managing the output of a team of developers and designers who have a key role in delivery of all digital transformation projects
• Own briefing (including ownership of all Jira input) and sign off process for all digital solutions working closely with key stakeholders throughout the business including IT, Legal and Compliance, Business Transformation,

Testing and Own Brands Commercial
• Lead any governance process required for Own Brands digital transformation projects e.g. stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Work closely with the Project Team responsible for delivering digital transformation projects ensuring we deliver our work streams to agreed deadlines and are satisfied with solutions, testing strategy and overall business readiness for launch
• Support the wider Commercial team deliver against targeted corporate objectives each year, including P&L delivery
• Deliver within required internal governance frameworks, and ensure all activity in line with regulatory requirements

Additional Responsibilities
• Deputise for the Senior Customer Experience Manager when needed.
• Support wider Customer Experience team with digital projects

Demonstrable experience in managing digital output on small, medium and large projects in a demanding environment to tight deadline - ensuring smooth change delivery, testing and controls in place.
Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple projects concurrently.
Scrum master knowledge.
Understanding of agile delivery techniques e.g. Continuous Delivery/Integration, Test Driven Development, and associated tooling.
A track record of delivery using an iterative/agile methodology (e.g. Agile/SCRUM) and experience of agile collaboration tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Confluence).
Ability to pre-empt potential risks and undertake appropriate mitigation actions.
The ability to contribute to the continual improvement of the Project team, including ideas for new processes and methodologies.
An understanding of User Experience and Web Design would be advantageous.
Ability to develop and execute against the Own Brands strategic digital roadmap
Strong digital capabilities and deep understanding of how digital solutions can improve customer experiences as well as application and conversion rates
Ideally knowledge of the credit card sector and its products, or at least relevant experience in Financial Services.
Ability to identify relevant industry standards and emerging opportunities.

Level of Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of digital, development and project management.
Ability to develop and maintain project schedules and work with the development team to establish a delivery rhythm; managing priorities, risks, dependencies, and removal of blockers.

This is a heavily focussed delivery role, and ability to solves issues as and when they arise will be key for success.
Decisions will need to be done in a governed manner, and so strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure blockers don’t arise is a must.

Although the role has no Direct Reports, the applicant will need to have the ability to influence and manage both designers and developers. This individual will be accountable for the development and delivery of digital transformation and BAU projects. On-time delivery is key, as is the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.

It would be expected that the Specialist will form a strong working partnership with the Business Transformation and Infrastructure teams. It goes without saying that even stronger working relationships will need to be formed with those undertaking execution of design and/or build.
