• Overview
o This role will provide analytical and process-related support for the Territory Planning team
o It will largely be “behind the scenes” and entail a combination of:
 Extracting data from Gartner databases
 Spreadsheet-based analyses (including management, manipulation and analysis of large data sets)
 Support of ad hoc analyses requested by Sales leaders
 Executing template-driven communication with Sales leaders around inbound new hires and annual planning process
 Maintaining progress tracking tools
 Conducting basic research in internal and external systems
 Providing quality assurance reviews
 Sending form emails to Sales leaders, as requested
o This role will be guided day-to-day by the team of Territory Planners based in Stamford

o Strong quantitative skills (see below for more detail)
o Ability to efficiently execute requested tasks with superlative quality
o Strong organizational and time management skills
o Exceptional attention to detail
o Strong written and verbal communication skills; good listener
o Good interpersonal skills
o Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
o At least 1-2 years of experience

• Relevant prior experience
o Other analytical roles – business analytics, finance, or consulting would be ideal
o Project management – able to manage and prioritize multiple requests
o Roles requiring collaboration and team engagement – able to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and act quickly

• “Quantitative skills” include but are not limited to:
o High proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, graphing, basic modeling, basic macros)
o Comfort managing large data sets
o Familiarity with creating basic queries (e.g., in Dun and Bradstreet database)
