Terminologist

Vendor will manage source terminology for company products for the next release. The terminologist needs to evaluate and populate entries. Service should cover both proactive and reactive workflows, including the following subtasks:
• Agree on the source term schedule with the team
• Review source term entries for correctness, completeness, usability, appropriateness, translatability and metadata availability/correctness
• Assist with research (on request) needed to provide sufficient & clear context to suppliers’ target terminologists
• Sign-off on source terminology readiness, including correct batching of source terms
• Entering final terms and their metadata into the corporate-wide terminology repository and getting them ready for Handoff to the localization vendor for pre-translation
• Cooperate closely with the PMs on source terminology localizability
• Add localization guidelines to Studio source term entries
• Work with PMs to add missing source terms as appropriate
• Fix minor issues with source term entries independently
• Maintain data integrity; Provides feedback to EE on source terminology management as it is at the moment
• Communicating with the submitters and other members of the 15 product teams to gather required information and get agreement on the final name, definition, description and other metadata.
• Obtaining approvals for each term and definition from PMs, PMG, Legal, GeoPol, and User Assistance.
Work with the product team to evaluate terms that the product team provides, negotiate with the product team to develop approved terms and definitions, and add approved terms and definitions.
