Temporary, Full-time: Video Producer/Editor/Multimedia Artist

The Content Manager of our Audio/Video Assets is responsible for managing audio/video initiatives that support the long-term growth and brand development of our company. Works as an integral part of the Creative Content Development and Marketing teams and reports to the Creative Manager. The incumbent will produce event-ready videos and multi-media Web content to cover a wide range of purposes, including corporate communication, live events, product and services.

Essential Functions:

Strategy
Creative editing ability to provide input to marketing on storyboard concepts to create a concise, compelling message that aligns with the overall brand.
Has advanced knowledge and can advise on production (camera, lighting, audio, stage hand support, and directing); and post-production (editing to finish product release).
Identifies ways to leverage video content in marketing campaigns and support materials throughout the organization.
Ensures adherence to brand standards and communication guidelines.

Project Management
Manages related partner relationships to ensure timely and professional completion of videos. (some vendor management)
Makes proactive recommendations for enhancing content, quality, and distribution.
Ability to manage complex projects to specific budgets and timelines.
Strong communication skills.
Solid project management experience, including developing, executing, and tracking video projects.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Attention to detail and deadlines.
Knowledge of video formats, compression, and general content management.

Video Editing
Working knowledge of all tools and technology related to video production and editing, as well as the ability to stay informed of the latest technologies and how peers are using video effectively.
Performs video quality control work, including monitoring feedback on quality and needs.
Will be responsible for assembling raw material into a finished product suitable for live events. The material they work with may consist of raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. He/She will be need to also design, and execute graphics, audio mixes, and capture footage as needed.
Suggest or selecting music.
Test video and audio content for use on devices.


Archival
Management of all in house assets with supporting documentation of arrival and proper archival.
Identifies ways to best utilize current archival system and ways of sharing media.
Composes quality metadata to ensure archival of all media.
Some experience or familiarity with CATDV archival system
Transfer code content from source video and audio formats to required formats for consumption by devices
