Technology Training Program Manager

Aquent is currently assisting our Fortune 500 partner in their search for a passionate, creative, customer-centric learning and development professional to serve in the role of Technology Training Program Manager for a 9 month assignment. The Technology Training Program Manager will lead a team of training delivery and training development leads to ensure projects are completed on time. The Technology Training PM will need to be experienced in leading projects, have solid background in training and development, and be able and willing to jump in and help creating training content (print, electronic, and web based). This role will require travel several times a month with advance notice to various locations (usually just for 1-2 days at a time).

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Simultaneously usher multiple technology adoption and training solutions to completion (Projects often span across different workgroups and locations.) 
  • Utilizing training expertise (specifically superior needs analysis skills), partner with internal customers to formulate and deliver technology learning solutions (using various modalities) 
  • Depending on the project – personally author, edit and distribute training materials and communication collateral (print & digital). This will require close collaboration with training team members and other departments. 

Requirements 

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Education or Computer or equivalent practical experience 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate Storyline 
  • Self-motivated and creative, with the demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with strong business judgment, ability to learn fast and work independently 
  • Outstanding work ethic (acts with integrity, professionalism and discipline) 
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex ideas concisely both in verbal and written presentations with strong interpersonal skills 
  • World-class customer service orientation 
  • Media asset production skills (print and digital media) 
  • 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design and or communications 
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience or similar 
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical into easy to understand 
  • Tech-savvy, advanced technical aptitude in Microsoft Office 365 apps 
  • Experience in adult learning theory 
  • Ability to travel with advance notice (west coast, 1-3x per month, 1-2 night trips) 

Preferred 

  • Previous experience in end-user technology adoption 
  • Prior experience in the marketing of training and or employee programs 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems 
  • Graphic design skills
