Technology Project Manager - Ecommerce

The eCommerce space includes the eCommerce Platform, Middle ware, the Digital Engagement Platform, Global Web Commerce, Global Mobile Applications and Third Party Delivery micro services. 

Responsibilities 

  • Validate strategy and facilitate reviews with the appropriate teams and our partners 
  • Grow and maintain expertise on the applications 
  • Monitor development and help to manage risks tied to development 
  • Drive alignment across Development stakeholders 
  • Liaise with PMO program manager 
  • Own and drive management of capability / functionality focused risks and variances 
  • Participate in program to help drive delivery, manage risks, ensure continuity during hand-offs, etc. 
  • Monitor development as it aligns to a program 
  • Raise and manage risks tied to program development in partnership 
  • Manage vendor relationships including strategic partnerships, renewals and negotiations 
  • Capability Team Leadership 

 

  • Guide / mentor teams 
  • Monitor and drive improvements within the capability and intake processes 
  • Support squad needs / remove barriers 
  • Ensure expertise on capabilities 

Minimum Requirements 

  • 2-3 YEARS experience in leading software activities 
  • 2-3 YEARS experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects 
  • 2-3 YEARS experience software architecture and software engineering practices 
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • ​Ideally this person has handled mobile or ecommerce development projects
  • Experience working with enterprise level companies

Desired Skills

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field IS PREFERRED 
  • Experience with service / API consumption 
  • Understanding of mobile application development principles 
  • Understanding of virtual, cloud-based software solution and deployments 
  • Desire and capacity to become a deep expert on product capabilities 
  • Self-driven leader who actively works to improve and create strong processes to ensure successful partnership and execution 
  • Desire and ability to build strong, cohesive relationships across other teams 
  • Proven technical aptitude 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, ambiguous environment 
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise way, ensuring the stakeholders are well informed and can make appropriate decisions 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, and team-working
