Technology Product Manager (Mid Level)

Reporting into the Head of Product Marketing, the contract Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be responsible for helping to support Braintree’s go-to-market global strategies for an array of supported payment methods.

We’re looking for an experienced contract Product Marketer with 5+ years (required) to work cross-functionally with other PMMs, product, sales, biz dev, marketing and operations teams. The ideal candidate is someone who has a rich B2B background in fintech (payments and technology), and is able to distill complex product information. The contractor will be responsible for communicating highly technical details to internal and external audiences and supporting key initiatives to help drive awareness, increase acquisition, and accelerate our market position. Although our products are recognizable consumer products, this is a b2b Product Marketing role. To be successful, the individual must thrive in an agile and cross functional environment and has experience working in a technology environment as a Product Marketer.

Responsibilities:
• Help develop go-to-market strategies, executed flawlessly across every customer touchpoint in collaboration with product, business development, sales, legal, compliance, marketing, PR, customer support, engineering and analytics
• Develop, evangelize and implement the product positioning, value proposition and messaging framework to key stakeholders including teams
• Work with enablement PMM and design team to deliver world class marketing assets - website, videos, training tools, demos, sales collateral, email campaigns and more
• Partner with the product and PMM team leads to gain understanding of our products offerings and articulate them in training materials, presentations to global teams
• Manage research projects as assigned including market research and competitive
• Participate in the go-to-market and launch process. Help create playbooks, socialize, and amplify pre and post launch activation including success metrics for assigned programs
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant product marketing experience in technology, with demonstrable experience crafting positioning, messaging, marketing plans, creative briefs, channel optimization, A/B testing, reporting on results
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work accurately and quickly to assess, confirm and execute under the direction of the portfolio owner
• B2B segment experience - SMB, Mid-market or large enterprise
• A+ team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment
