Vitamin T is currently in search of a Technology Manager for our client in Metro Detroit. This is a full time opportunity!

The Team
The team comprises a team of digital specialists, production managers, account managers, 2D graphical and 3D designers who deliver auto show exhibitions and experiences. In collaboration with our other departments, we conceive, develop and deliver projects for clients on a global basis.

The central digital technology team consists of multi discipline developers and technical leads who work together to create exciting and innovative technology solutions across the business.

· Leading the production of interactive applications
· Costing, scoping, designing and planning software for any technology
· Reporting the production status to the Technical Director on a regular basis
· Ensure coding and documentation standards are met and the deployment pipeline is used continuously through development and always on deployment
· Ensure release management processes are adhered to
· Work with and improve processes which help to ensure technical delivery, stability and maintainability within each project
· Work with project management staff to ensure they are informed of development progress
· Ensure all software is tested before release and quality assurance is met
· Provide on-site technical leadership, coordinating the installation of software with the hardware team and debugging problems to resolve
· Be able to delve into any coding language to fix issues and recompile software under pressure
· Work with the Technical Director and central digital team to improve all aspects of Imagination’s digital departments

Experience and skills required:
· Proven architecture and development skills in developing software systems ranging in scale
· Proven commercial experience in managing digital technology staff
· Solid experience in a software or digital agency
· Commercial experience as a lead developer and leading other developers
· Exposure to multiple software delivery methodologies and the ability to drawn on all of them based on the requirements
· Demonstrable experience in an agency creative process and comfortable being an interface between Creative and Technical teams
· Commercial experience working in a high pace working environment and have learnt how to adapt quickly to change
· Experience with and an understanding of good design principles and ability to adhere to complex design specifications
· Working with the development team to ensure work is completed to specification and to a high quality.
· Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
· Strategic and solutions-focused attitude

Technical Skill Set

Strong knowledge of at least one of the following:
· Python, HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, AIR/AS3/Flex, C-based technologies - C++, C#, Linux/Ubuntu administration, iOS, Android/

With knowledge and understand of:
· Design Patterns
· Wire-framing / business analysis
· Unit testing / Test automation
· Continuous integration (i.e. Jenkins)
· Continuous deployment ( Chef / Puppet )
· Shell scripting
· Database design
