Technical/Marketing Writer

Writing support articles and white papers and installation guides at this top tech company isn't simply technical writing.
It's not just answering questions. It's a unique blend of marketing writing, technical writing and project management.
It's also incredibly vital to the company and is treated as such.

The work:
- Work with product marketing, engineering and the support team to understand and translate product features and processes for customers.
- Write instructions for how to use the product, but also explain why things work the way we do and why we think it's important.
- Help track down necessary information across the organization and work with product, engineering and marketing to ensure content is right.
- Fight for the customer - make sure we don't complicate things or confuse them.
- Ensure all our communications are simple, human and clear.

Minimum qualifications:
- 3-5+ years experience. Bachelor's degree required.
- At least three years experience writing copy that's simple to understand and delightful to read.

Preferred qualifications:
Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams of many different disciplines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where the product is constantly evolving.
Ability to document interactions and processes with a keen attention to detail.
Proven experience authoring a number of documents across various projects.

Able to provide writing samples.
