Our client in Kirkland is looking to hire a technical writer for an approximately 15- 20 week assignment. Ideally, you will have some background or familiarity with Office 365, particularly email (Outlook and/or Exchange) or other email product.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Work with product, engineering, and field teams to design and write effective online help and other documentation for administrators, developers, and end-users
Take ownership of a section of the technical documentation set and manage it through the entire documentation life cycle
Learn, use, and help improve our style, publication model, and processes, working with the rest of the technical publications team and the extended team of subject matter experts Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent writer and overall communicator
Analytical and organized, excellent time manager
2+ years of technical writing experience with computer-related companies
1+ years of experience writing documentation for enterprise computer software
Proven ability to learn complex software applications quickly and explain them clearly
Ability to elicit information needed from developers and other product team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience with working with data analytics
Experience with structured content development Bonus:
Experience writing Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, or other email program Help content
Experience with Office 365 a plus What will the day-to-day look like:

Writers work directly with product and field teams to develop technical documentation that describes complex products in a natural and intuitive way.
