Our client's focus is on digital advertising and media solutions that informs and enriches a customer’s shopping experience. Their solutions are featured across desktop, mobile, devices and their programmatic network. They are looking for an excellent Technical Writer to join their talented team.

As Technical writer you will prepare instruction manuals, technical documents and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily to their operational teams. You will also develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among engineers, developer, program managers, product managers, designers, and technical account managers. Your goal will be to have proper documentation for any product created and available for broader usage in their international teams across the world.

Their ideal candidate is motivated by working independently and the ability to start documentations from the scratch. Key to success in this role is the ability to develop and manage processes affecting multiple products, tools affecting multiple geographies and teams through leadership skills and demonstrated subject matter expertise.


Assessing the audience and the nature of the documentation required by:
· attending planning/briefing meetings;
· collaborating with developers and managers to clarify technical issues;
· liaising with subject matter experts and sales and marketing specialists;

Researching and gathering the information required, including:
· understanding the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared;
· gathering and analysing the information needs of the user.

Presenting the information, which includes:
· organising information according to the user's needs;
· writing and editing;
· commissioning, coordinating or preparing illustrations;
· indexing and cataloguing material;
· copy-editing.

Related administration, which may involve:
· working on and managing multiple projects simultaneously;
· creating work schedules;
· marketing - publicising services and skills to potential clients;
· keeping up to date with developments and trends in the industry and attending training courses.
