Do you love games? How about curating technical documents for internal use by game developers? We have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented writer and editor to craft internal documentation and organize the method of consumption for our game developers. We need great documentation to support consistent processes, swift onboarding of new hires and help spur sharing of knowledge across our existing team.

Responsibilities:
• This person will work across team boundaries (art, audio, design, engineering) to create technical documentation, tutorials, and organize it all into an intuitive flow with a cohesive interface with content that is easily discoverable via standard search methods.
In this role, you will:
• Create a common look and feel for all documentation regarding technical processes and best practices across disciplines.
• Assess what documentation exists and ensure it is accurate and complies with overall look and feel of the interface you will create.
• Assess what documentation needs to be created, collaborate with content providers to create it and ensure it complies with the overall look and feel of the interface you will create.
• Assist the team in making the documentation more discoverable utilizing standard search methods.
Experience:
• 3-5 years’ experience in in creating software documentation for a technical audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to read some combo of C++, C#, Python and Maya scripting
• Understanding of the game development process – experience in the industry a plus
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new applications, tools, technologies, and processes quickly and independently
• Passion for an intuitive user experience
Qualifications:
• A B.A./B.S degree in Computer Science, Technical Communications, or equivalent is preferred.
• We require writing samples that demonstrate clarity, accuracy, conciseness, and the ability to write for technical audiences.
