The Content Publishing team is looking for a creative, socially skilled, hard-working technical writer to create online Help, contextual user-interface text, and other information resources for a suite of internal and customer-facing tools used to populate content into the console and service. The technical writer will handle a range of assignments from training materials and cheat sheets to online Help documentation. An understanding of one or more major technologies, such as database design and development, networking, client/server applications, security, multimedia, or device drivers, et. al. is desired. The ability to collaborate effectively with people from multiple groups, manage multiple assignments, and drive projects to completion is essential. The job is people-intensive as much as it is writing-intensive. This person will work with developers, program managers, testers, and site managers to understand both the features and capabilities of the tools and the critical user tasks they are used for.

3+ years writing documentation about software or software tools for end users.
Examples of solid, clear, straightforward technical content, as well as examples of creativity in addressing communication challenges. Please provide samples of your best technical documentation.
Proven ability to engage constructively in cross-functional team environments.
B.A./B.S. degree in a relevant area (Computer Science, Technical Communications, Journalism, etc.).
Familiarity with HTML/XML required.
Familiarity with the Manual of Style for Technical Publications desirable.
