Technical Writer

This person will research various documents available internally on product as well as research external documents available on competing products and create a list of required documents for customers. They will create templates of those documents and work with teams to develop documentation. They will get the documents reviewed by legal,and engineering security team for technical accuracy and to ensure no proprietary information is revealed in the documents. After the final approval from all stakeholders, they will release the documents in Agile and distribute them to OEMs for posting on their docs and download page.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include developing and executing documentation plan for various devices, researching internal and external documents for developing the documentation plan, creating templates for all documents per device OEM, getting the documents reviewed by legal, and Eng. security team, releasing the documents and distributing them to OEMs in a timely manner.

Skills/Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience writing and editing software and/or Hardware documentation. Able to multi-task, work independently, and manage projects as assigned. Team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science and/or Digital Media and/or Information Technology and/or Marketing and/or Media & Multimedia Arts and/or Journalism and/or Technical Writing or equivalent experience.
